Michael Moore is a national expert in executive leadership development, known for his strategic guidance in principal supervision, support, and development. Partnering with superintendents and senior leaders in large urban districts, he helps set priorities, drive transformative change, and build high-performing teams. Across a wide variety of organizations, Michael has co-designed growth and development systems, established effective project management processes, and elevated senior leaders’ performance.
As Chief Academic Officer at New Leaders, Michael directed the nation’s largest urban principal preparation program, training over 120 diverse leaders annually across 12 cities. Following a successful career as a principal and superintendent, he transitioned to full-time advisory work.
Michael was a founding partner at the Urban Schools Human Capital Academy and currently serves as a Strategic Advisor for ETC Network’s District Administration events and publications. Named one of District Administration’s “Top 100 Education Influencers” in 2024, Michael consistently shares insights on strategic leadership and school improvement, offering valuable expertise to education leaders nationwide.
