James Martinez is a highly experienced bilingual education leader, with a career spanning 35 years. His areas of expertise include Special Education, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Social-Emotional Learning, Response to Intervention, School Counseling, and College and Career Readiness. Jim holds a degree in Educational Leadership, is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education, and has previously served as a member of the Monroe Public Schools Board of Education. He recently earned the National Latino Administrator of the Year Award in 2022 for the work he did in Norwalk Public Schools.
